Hi Bridge where do you post the prompt? I subscribed but haven't received anything. Sorry if I'm being thick. Thanks, Caroline

I was so excited to receive an email about this today. I used to keep a steady blog throughout my travels, but somewhere along the way I stopped writing. I've been doing academic (dry!) writing for the past few years, doing a mature degree, but my creativity has suffered. I'm not sure I can join in every day, but I hope to at least once a week. I can't wait to read what everyone else offers, too! :)

I'm a dolt- clearly- but where do we read what others are writing regarding the prompt?

Wrong place, but couldn’t work out where else to post this - a reaction to your Speccy piece about capitalism and earning a living from writing:

ood point about the subscriber model - I’ve had to make a number of painful cuts recently. It’s ridiculous on my income to be spending $50-$60 a month supporting people I like. I’m pretty sure I’m paying you, still. (I just checked - I am). I’ve thought for a while that Substack (or someone) should offer a sort of Club of Clubs deal (that was a thing, decades ago). So you pay a monthly sub and that gets you so many points, and you can read anything and everything but each creator decides how many points to charge for each piece. If you run out of points, you can top up.

Same here. Not clear on where I see what others have written. 🙈

Well Bridgett, considering that I've already written more novels, books and magazine articles than I've bothered to count. I don't need to be encouraged. I will say that writing is good for the mind - it keeps it active.
